Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Plural Mind collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information when you use the Plural Mind website, mobile app, and related services. Plural Mind is designed to help users with organization, journaling, reminders, support tools, and identity-related tools. Because users may choose to enter mental health, support, journaling, or identity-related information, we treat user content as sensitive.
Important Health and Safety Notice
Plural Mind is not a medical provider, therapist, crisis service, emergency service, or substitute for professional care. The app is provided as an organization and self-support tool. If you may be in danger, are considering harming yourself or someone else, or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis resource immediately.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Plural Mind, we may collect and store the following categories of information:
- Account information: email address, sign-in method, account identifiers, account settings, language settings, and security preferences.
- User-created app content: journal entries, mood entries, medication reminders, appointment information, support resources, safety-plan information, identity tools content, system groups, statuses, parts/alters information, fronting records, logs, images, and other information you choose to enter.
- Premium and billing information: premium access status, subscription status, redemption code status, and purchase-related records. Payment card details are processed by payment providers and are not intended to be stored directly by Plural Mind.
- Support and communication information: messages or reports you submit for support, bug reports, suggestions, and related diagnostic context you choose to provide.
- Technical and usage information: device type, app version, browser or platform information, crash logs, diagnostic logs, authentication events, and security-related records used to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
- Connected-service information: information needed to provide optional integrations, such as Discord linking or proxy settings, if you choose to connect those services.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate, and secure accounts;
- provide app features such as journaling, reminders, appointments, support tools, identity tools, and premium access;
- save and sync user-created content across supported devices;
- provide customer support and respond to user requests;
- process purchases, subscriptions, account upgrades, and redemption codes;
- detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
- debug errors, improve performance, and maintain app reliability;
- comply with legal, safety, tax, payment, dispute-resolution, and regulatory obligations.
How We Share Information
Plural Mind does not sell user data. We may share information only as needed for the following purposes:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, authentication, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, email, customer support, and other infrastructure providers that help us operate Plural Mind.
- Payment and app-store providers: purchase and subscription information may be processed by payment providers, app stores, or billing platforms.
- Optional integrations: if you connect an outside service, such as Discord, information needed for that integration may be exchanged with that service according to your settings.
- Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigation, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, Plural Mind, or others.
Personal and Sensitive User Data
Plural Mind may process personal and sensitive user data because users can choose to enter mental health, journaling, support, medication-reminder, appointment, image, or identity-related information. You control what you choose to enter into the app. Please do not enter information you do not want stored in your account.
Plural Mind is not intended to be used as an official medical record, legal record, crisis record, or replacement for professional treatment documentation.
Secure Data Handling
Plural Mind uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal and sensitive user data. These safeguards include encrypted transmission where supported, authentication-based account access, database security rules, storage security rules, access controls, and limiting access to user data to authorized purposes such as providing support, maintaining the service, troubleshooting, security, and legal compliance.
Plural Mind uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the app, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, storage, payment, analytics, crash reporting, and related services. These providers may process user data only as needed to provide their services to Plural Mind.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to protect user data using reasonable practices appropriate for the nature of the information handled by the app, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
Plural Mind stores user data only for as long as needed to provide the app's features, maintain the user's account, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, process payments, and operate the service safely.
We retain account data and user-created app content while your account remains active or until you delete the data in the app. If you delete specific content inside the app, that content is removed from active app records where the app supports deletion.
Some deleted data may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or security records before being automatically removed. Backup copies and system logs may remain for up to 90 days before deletion through routine backup rotation, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, tax, dispute-resolution, or compliance reasons.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify the personal data associated with your account within 30 days after verifying and processing the request, unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment, tax, dispute resolution, accounting, chargeback, or compliance purposes.
Data that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained for analytics, security, reliability, or service improvement purposes.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
Plural Mind includes an in-app account deletion feature. To request deletion of your Plural Mind account and associated data, open the app while signed in and go to:
Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm account deletion. Deleting your account removes access to the Plural Mind account and deletes or de-identifies personal data associated with that account, subject to the limited retention periods and legal exceptions described in this Privacy Policy.
If you cannot access the app, cannot sign in, or need help with an account or data deletion request, contact us at justiceisawesome3@yahoo.com. Include the email address associated with your Plural Mind account so we can locate the account and verify that you are authorized to request deletion. We may need to take reasonable steps to confirm ownership before deleting account data.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account may not automatically cancel billing managed through an app store or payment provider. You may need to cancel the subscription through the platform or payment provider where the subscription was purchased.
Children
Plural Mind is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
